What is The Rolling Balls Game?

The Rolling Balls Game is a compact training kit designed for practical Lean Six Sigma and statistical training. Participants perform experiments, collect real data, analyze results and make decisions based on their findings.

What can we teach with it?

One training kit — multiple exercises across the Six Sigma learning journey!

Main Exercises:

• Design of Experiments (DOE) • Cause and Effect Analysis • Correlation and Regression

Additional Exercises:

• Process Capability • Hypothesis Testing • Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

Other support:

• Types of data & Data gathering • Histogram creation • Control charts creation

How Does It Work?

These are the typical steps in each exercise

Set up

Set up the simulation according to the selected exercise

Experiment

Guide the participants to conduct the experiment and collect real process data

Analyze

Analyze the collected data using a spreadsheet or statistical software

Discuss

The trainees present and discuss the results with the group

What’s Included?

Physical Training Kit and Training Materials for 5 Factor simulations:

Factor X1 – Continuous variable
Factor X2 – Continuous variable
Factor X3 – Categorical variable
Factor X4 – Categorical variable
Factor X5 – Ordinal or discrete variable, depending on the exercise

Output Y1 - Continuous variable

Designed for Flexible Training

1–5 Participants

The game works well with different group sizes: - individual coaching, - small groups or - team exercises.

Classroom or Remote Training

The kit can be shipped to the participant and used during instructor-led online training.

Compact Setup
